Last week, the CHED decided to give us a one week break. This was to give the people who were affected by Typhoon Ketsana some time to get their lives back together before their kids have to go to school. I really think it was the right thing to do.=)

Anyway, I took the time to help out in a few places. I helped my clean up my little sister's school, Jose Abad Santos Memorial School (JASMS). Their school was badly affected by the typhoon. The school is beside a creek. Because of that creek, and the continuous raining, the flood in the school reached 8 ft. There was mud everywhere and the smell was HORRIBLE. @___@ My mum and I helped clean the tables and my little sister's classroom.

While in JASMS, i got to see how devoted the teachers were. They were helping the clean-up! They got there at around 8 or 9 and stayed there up to 4 or 5. I'm not even sure if they're gonna get paid for what they're doing. Their pay is even delayed sometimes. I just found it really heartwarming that there are still some teachers this dedicated to their profession and "kids".=D

I also got to help out in the Ateneo Task Force Ondoy. It was a lot of fun!XDD Hahahahaha!!^____^ I wish I can spend more time there though.=)

I wish I can help again, if school permits.=)

During the break, I got to finish something I've been wanting to finish for a long time.

I FINALLY FINISHED FINAL FANTASY: CRISIS CORE!!XDDDD

The ending is AWESOME!! It was sooo sad.. But the graphics were sooo pretty!! That game has to be one of the best games around.XD

Now, I gotta say HELLO to school!!@__@

Last Saturday, 26th of September, the Philippines experience one of the WORST typhoons to ever hit it, Typhoon Ondoy. There was non-stop rain for roughly 24 hours. The winds were not strong, thankfully.

During that day, I went to Ateneo because of a microbio project and because I had to teach little boys in the chess clinic, a fundraiser of the chess team. My mum brought me there. I arrived at 8:30 in the morning. At 9 AM, I walked/ran to the chess room knowing I was going to be late. I was drenched and my shoes and socks were soaked (IT WAS NOT A NICE FEELING @__@).

By around 11:30, Coach Idel already suspended training due to the rain and the news reports that some areas were starting to become flooded. I couldn't leave because my parents and Mang Ompong were stuck in traffic. Some of my teammates and I stayed in the chess room because we couldn't be fetched and we were advised to stay there. We were lucky because a hotdog stand was in the Blue Eagle gym because of the UAAP event happening.XDD So we were still able to buy food. The coached left us but they came back after about 2 hours because after an hour and 30 minutes, they were only able to drive up to Xavier Hall. They got frustrated so they decided to just go back to the gym.XD

By 4 PM, we noticed that the rain wasn't that strong anymore and that the traffic in Ateneo eased up. Tim, Kuya Tong, and I walked to McDo so we could buy actual food.XDD Wahahaha!!

After everything, I was fetched by my parents at 6:30 in the gym.=D I was stranded in Ateneo for 10 hours.@__@

Anyway, it was sort of scary because we could see that the sky looked so dark. At 11 AM, it looked like it was 6 PM.@__@ Plus, I was hearing about how bad the storm was from other people. The flood went inside both Coach Chiara's and Kuya Tong's houses. It almost reached the 2nd floor of their house. I also heard that some of my relatives and friends were severely affected by the floods but at the same time, I was happy that no one got hurt.=) It's a weird feeling. Hahahaha!!

I hope that nothing this bad will happen ever again.

Hay stress.

last saturday was epic fail day.. well.. at least it ended like it.. the morning was just STRESSFUL..@__@

k-chan and i were the only two people available to help coach chiara in the tournaments of the chess clinic.. the kids there were mostly boys of about.. 5 - 10 years of age..@__@ mostly on the 5 - 8 though.. GAAAH.. a bunch of screaming whiny makukulit BOYS in ONE BIG ROOM is not FUN..@__@ i wanted to hit some of the kids 'cause they were being too rowdy and annoying..-__-;; but there was still this exceptionally awesome boy named terran who wasn't rowdy at all..=) i love that kid..XDD at the end of the clinic.. i just wanted to SLEEP..@__@ i can't believe i'll do this again after a few weeks..

after the clinic.. some drama happened between the team and coach but i won't go into that anymore.. i think it's sort of personal.. so yeah.. after the drama.. k-chan and i got asked to train again.. i now have thursday trainings.. oh well..

then k-chan got a haircut.. and sam and i watched her get a haircut.. oh the fun..XDD no.. seriously.. it was fun..XDD we were laughing most of the time..=D

after that.. we went to my house to prepare for the philippine red party.. so we took a bath.. dressed nicely.. they put on make-up (i refused to do that).. then after mass.. we went to MOA..

while going there.. it suddenly rained.. HARD.. so we were thinking.. "uh-oh.. the venue of the party is open.. there's no roof or anything..".. then we thought.. maybe it's in a tent.. but.. when we finally arrived.. THERE WAS NO TENT.. the party ended early because of the rain..=| there were no bands.. NOTHING.. just people flocking to the mall and shade..@__@ so in the end.. we got dressed up to eat in the.. food court!!

that was.. just.. FAIL..@__@ i mean the organizers should have thought of the fact that it might rain therefore they should at least put a tent over the venue.. BUT NO.. they didn't.. so.. in the end.. the party didn't push through..@__@ i don't mind giving money for it.. it's for PGH.. but.. MOA is sooo far.. the people who went there just wasted time and energy to go there just to get rained on.. i'm pretty sure that some people there dressed up and all that.. haay.. it wasn't planned that well..-__-

oh well.. i still had fun with sam and k-chan..=) more bonding time with them.. hahaha!!

MUST STUDY HARDER!! I HAVE TO PASS CHEM!! I WILL NOT FAIL!!=|

WOOHOO!! first part of my hell week is finally OVER!!XDD

i had three long tests.. a microbio lab long test last monday, a chem lecture exam last wednesday and a math long test last thursday.. my microbio groupmates and i then had brainstorm about an investigative project for microbio lab last friday.. the project proposal was due on that day too..@__@ it was exhasuting..=| and amazingly stressful.. i died in the chem exam..=(

theeeen.. last friday. i was looking forward to the new week and the stress it WILL NOT bring.. BUT THEN i found out that i'll have a microbio long test on wednesday.. and i have a chem prelab and postlab due on that day too..@__@ GAAAAH..@__@ sept. 2 = DEATH..@__@

i want to get this hell week over with!!=|

on a happier note.. I BOUGHT A NEW GAME!!XDDD

last friday.. while i was talking to my groupmates about the project.. my two blockmates.. jay and josh.. told me that the new Final Fantasy: Dissidia game was out already.. soo.. I BOUGHT ONE TODAAAY!!XDD WOOHOO!! i'm soooo excited.. i wanna play the game already.. wahahahaha!!XD

i can't waaaaait for this hell week to be over so i can finally play with this game!!

i just feel so tired....

before chem class started.. i went to the washroom 'cause i had to.. i was there with a girl i don't know and my two classmates from the life sci. block.. all of a sudden.. the girl tried to open the main door so she could go out.. and it wouldn't bulge..O___O everyone tried to open it.. but it just wouldn't open..@__@ luckily i had my cellphone with me so i was able to call someone to come and open the door for us.. we figured out that the problem with the door was that the handle on the side we were in wasn't working.. it wasn't twisting..

while we were inside.. we were just joking around and saying how much it sucks that we were stuck in a washroom of all places..XDD oh well..

aside from that.. the day went on pretty well.. the chem experiment was pretty fun.. and i THINK i'm starting to understand integral calc.. i hope i am..@__@

and.. i miss playing with my PSP..TT__TT i miss the super-amazing-and-cool-but-now-with-emo-hair zack.. i miss sleeping at 5 am just 'cause i couldn't put the game down.. haaaay...TT__TT i miss my game!!TT__TT

just something i want out of my head..

ever since the start of second sem.. i've been pondering if i should minor in BS Management.. i know i'm already taking a course that's pretty difficult.. but.. i'm just thinking if i can handle that minor.. especially since it involves accounting.. aka.. MORE MATH..@__@

the only reason why i want to minor in management is because my dream med school is the ateneo med school.. and i need management units to at least get it.. or to better my chances of getting in.. plus management is a pretty flexible course.. i can learn some practical things with it.. i won't just be focused on the sciences..

haaaaay.. decisions.. decisions.. oh well.. i have a lot of months to think about this.. since i can only take a minor during my third year..

last week was hell week..@__@ i had a chem LT last wednesday.. and one in microbio last friday.. not that great.. it was tiring.. but oh well.. at least it's over..=) i just hope i passed.. ahehehe.. i don't wanna flunk my first two LTs in that subject..=| gah.. but i know that this won't be the last hell week i'll have..

on a lighter note.. THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON MONDAY!! WOOT!!XDDD this has already been announced by Dr. Cuyagkeng..=)soo.. at least i get to rest a little before going to school since i wasn't feeling well anymore..@__@

ice cream making last wednesday!!XDD my group made vanilla ice cream.=) it was yummmy!! i hope we get high score for it!! hahaha!! it was such a stress free lab too.. we didn't have a prelab or a postlab.. it was just pure fun and enjoyment..XD epal lang yung chem LT.. but oh well.. i still like it..=)

ongaku in motion!! woohoo!! it was sooo cool!! i finally heard the famous cheska-sensei speak in nihon-go..XDD wahahahaha!! plus there was this really cool instrument.. it's called a koto.. that was played during that event.. it was sooo cool!! it must be difficult to play though.. personally.. i won't have the patience to learn that instrument..@__@ but it sounds really nice..=)

too bad k-chan and i weren't able to join the inuman after.. epal mum..=| and i wanted soooo badly to drink after having those two LTs.. hay... maybe next time..=)

panda, demi, gail, sam, k-chan and i watched HP6 last tuesday.. i don't think it's as bad as some people think it was.. i think the cinematography and graphics are stunning.. the acting was pretty good and the comedy was great..XD the story was alright.. though it could get confusing if you haven't read the book..

the two people who played the kid voldemort and the teen voldemort were awesome!! they were really pretty..XDD plus they look strangely alike.. even though they aren't related..O_O

also.. severus snape has layered hair now!! wahahaha!! it was funny watching it move with the wind and all that..XDD

there was a lot of yaoi-able moments between harry and draco too.. wweeeeee!! and i really love that line draco said.. "i don't need protection!".. hehe!! i know i'm taking it waaay out of context.. but still...XDD so yaoi-able..XDD

angel's debut celebration was held last sunday!! it was really bongga..O_O but what can you expect if you're the only child?? hahaha! the venue was really nice.. the food was delicious!! especially the sushi and sashimi bar that was there..=) yum!! hahaha!!

it was a really fun and memorable event..=)

i had a blast!! and so did the room 11 people who attended..^__^
